Dr. Cynthia Graves-Burroughs, DDS

Dr. Burroughs saved my teeth and gave me my smile back! I can't thank her enough!

My mother is a 78 y.o. patient of Cynthia Burroughs since 2004 she recently referred my mother to Affordable Dentures in Bowling Green where she did purchase her dentures. Affordable Dentures faxed authorization for Dr. Burrough's office stating that her office could make the less than 10 minute adjustment to her lower denture. My mother recently had knee replacement surgery so it is difficult for her to be in a car as long as necessary from Tompkinsville to Bowling Green. After getting the dentures last Thursday, she was in pain for two days from the trip. Affordable Dentures doesn't have an appointment earlier than next week to make the adjustment so asking my mother's long time dentist to modify her "office policy" on a case by case basis doesn't seem an extraordinary request. Especially once Affordable Dentures faxed her office authorizing her to make the adjustment as well as ensuring that the warranty on the dentures would not be impacted by Dr. Borroughs making the adjustment is… unconscionable. It would seem that in a specific situation consideration could have be given especially since my mother has been a patient for 13 years as well as my aunt Ida McCreary. If she can treat a long time patient in this manner I wonder how she treats other elderly patients that come to her practice. I have heard negative things about Cynthia and my mother remained loyal to her dental practice. Additionally, I would have paid for the office visit and arranged for Affordable Dentures to authorize the adjustment via fax by Cynthia Burroughs. I am extremely disappointed that my mother's long time dentist didn't have the heart to make an exception to her own office policy especially since she had authorization from Affordable Dentures. When I called another dentist in town whom my mother had not seen previously and explained the hardship my mother was experiencing with her knee surgery and a lack of availability of an appointment with Affordable Dentures for over a week she immediately made an appointment for my and agreed to make the adjustment based upon the fax from Affordable Dentures. I look forward to my mother being able to eat with her new dentures and thanks to Dr. Crystal Hagen who has a new patient. I also want my mother to have a dentist with a heart!

Worst dentist ever!!!! She does not care about her Patients! She put on a front!
