to 1968 as captain in the United States Army DentalÂ

Vietnam.Â
Dr. Hagan began a private practice in Sylvania in August, 1968. He served as President of the Eastern District Dental Society in 1995 and has served on numerous committees as a member of the Georgia Dental Association.
Dr. Hagan completed 500 hours of continuing dental education and became a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry in 1984 and was selected by fellow dentists to become an Honorable Fellow in the Georgia Dental Association in 1998. That same year he was selected to be as member of the prestigious Pierre Fauchard Academy of Dentistry.
All his life he has had a …passion for sports as a player, coach, and avid booster. He was voted into the Screven County Athletic Hall of Fame in 1989. He is married to Jean Roselic Hagan and has two children, a daughter, Dr. Maria Martinson, who is in practice with him, and a son, Kevin, who is a professional chef. He also has two grandsons, Hagan and John.
