Dr. Ella Dekhtyar, DDS

My experience with Dr. Dekhtyar and her staff has been a consistent pleasure - they are incredibly courteous, professional, and a pleasure to deal with. I've had very significant work done to correct long-standing problems with my teeth, and I could not be more satisfied - both with the results, my smile has not looked this good for decades! and with the support this practice has provided every step of the way. Anyone who wants a dentist and support staff who are ultra competent, super supportive, and sensitive to a patient's concerns, please go see Dr. Dekhtyar.

Dr. Ella Dekhtyar obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from NYU College of Arts & Science in 1996. She then decided to pursue a career in dentistry where she successfully graduated from NYU College of Dentistry in the year 2000. In 2008 Dr. Dekhtyar completed her certification in Implantologyat Montefeiore Medical center. Dr Ella has been in practice for over 17 years now! She is very well known in the State of New York. Dr. Dekhtyar continues to take continuing education courses till this day to allow her to implement the latest cutting edge technology and treatment which can be more useful in her practice.. She is a lifetime learner. She is a compassionate dentist who dedicates her life to giving beautiful and healthy smiles to her patients. She is one of the most highly regarded dentists in the community. Dr. Dekhytar has received multiple awards in 2010 & 2012. Dr. Dekhtyar specializes in cosmetic, restorative, endodontic, prosthodontic dentistry and implantology.… Patient’s comfort and concerns are priorities during treatment in her office.

I went to this dentist thinking I'll encounter another insensible dentist. I made some research and give her a try. She is very thoughtful and engaged with me at all time. I usually do not engage writing reviews but she deserve it. She is amazing. The staff are great and the office is very pretty.

Went to Bushwick for the first time to this dentist. Office was very nice, but the dr was not very nice. She was not informative at all. Didn't seem like she cared about the patients well being. She told me I needed a retainer and asked me for $1000. I told her I wanted a cleaning and she said no u need this. Doctor is money hungry. And she smokes cigarettes which is worse because she smelled horribly right before she saw me. The mask didn't help either. Will not be recommending anyone to come to 1152 broadway in Bushwick. Nasty woman.

Dr. Ella has been my family dentist for many years. She is extremely thoughtful about pain management. She has done implants and root canals for me and my family with no complications. Excellent dentisit!

Would not trade her.
