Growing up on the family orchard in Mapleton, Utah, Dr. Roundy learned early that schoolwork was easier than farm work.  Driven by this insight, Dr. Roundy graduated cum laude from BYU and first in his class from Emory Dental School in Atlanta, Georgia.
After completing a General Practice Residency at UCLA Hospital, Dr. Roundy began practicing dentistry in Utah in 1983. He is an active member of the Utah Dental Association and the American Dental Association.  He and his wife Melanie are the parents of six children, and have three grandchildren.  Dr. Roundy enjoys golfing, gardening, and spending time with his family.
Dr. Roundy’s passion for his work is evident in everything he does.  “I love being a dentist.  I value and enjoy the relationships I have built with my patients over the years.  I treat them like family and find it very satisfying to help them enjoy a better life Dr. Roundy is very gentle and patient, and is particularly good with children and those who …are apprehensive or nervous. After a thorough examination, he takes the time to explain and discuss treatment options clearly so that patients feel comfortable they are making the best decisions regarding their dental health.
Dr Roundy is committed to continuing education, such as studying current literature and attending seminars and conferences on research impacting dentistry. In addition to providing traditional dentistry such as excellent crowns and root canals, he has expertise in the latest techniques, such as implant and cosmetic dentistry.

Dr. Aaron Roundy
We are excited to welcome and introduce a new dentist to our practice. Dr. Aaron Roundy, D.D.S., recently graduated from the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery at the University of Maryland. He and his wife, Camille have moved back to Utah to join Dr. Evan Roundy’s practice and settle in the valley they both grew up in.
Camille grew up just down Highland Drive in Sandy. She met Aaron as they were both finishing up their undergraduate studies at BYU. A few years and several life adventures later Camille and Aaron were married this past December. Camille moved to Baltimore to support Aaron while he finished his last semester of school, and enjoyed working and living in Baltimore. She now works as an epidemiologist at the Utah Department of Health and is excited to support Aaron in his work as a dentist.
Aaron has had a lifetime of exposure to the dental field as he grew up watching his father, Evan, practice dentistry. Aaron was involved at the office from an early age as he took advantage of opportunities his father provided. He progressed from preparing mailings, to working as the janitor, and finally as a dental assistant. He is now excited to work side by side with his father as a dentist himself.
Although Aaron chose dentistry for his fourth grade career fair, he kept his options open until after his serving a two year LDS mission when he chose to follow in his father’s footsteps.  “He never pushed any of us to become a dentist,” Aaron says, “but he was definitely excited when I decided to go to dental school.”
Having trained at the University of Maryland, Dr Aaron Roundy had an opportunity to learn from expert faculty who lead their respective fields.   Aaron began his training at the University's brand new, state of the art dental facility which combined the most up to date facilities and techniques with the renowned reputation of the first dental school established in the United States.
