I absolutely Do Not recommend this dentist and strongly advise to stay away from his office. He's neither experienced nor professional. To put it mildly, not only he doesn't know what he's doing, but also he is not a good human being.
I started to use his services when I heard his advertisement/infomercial on one of the local Iranian radio stations. My biggest mistake was that I signed up for his service for my mom ( a 70-year-old diabetic patient with extensive dental needs) and myself both at the same time to save time since I work every day.
His initial assessment for me was to send me to a specialist to do a root canal for the pain that I was experiencing. He also recommend implants for my mom through Medi-Cal which would have been performed by him. He changed his mind quickly and decided to do my root canal himself. During the time that he was claiming to have sent over the request for authorization to perform 8 implants for my mom to Medi-Cal, he completed my treatment. However, my pain did not go away. I raised the issue with him and he determined that he needs to send me to a specialist as he had originally planned. The specialist was able to resolve the issue by doing a complete root canal and fix what he had missed. Obviously, I had to pay the specialist for the work he had done and requested to be reimbursed from him. He reluctantly agreed but that was the downfall in the process and the breakdown in our communication for my mom's treatment.
To make a long story short, I found out through Medi-Cal that they never authorize for implants and that's a widely known fact in the industry. He clearly had used bait and switch to get the treatment process started for my mom and change from implants to dentures under the pretense that Medi-Cal did not approve for implants. I consider that flat out fraud! He was not even consistent in his dishonest practices and work ethics. Once implants were not approved, he opted for partials instead of full dentures to charge my mother $1200. Later on, I found out that Medi-Cal would have paid for full dentures.
He was simply trying to make up the money that he had reimbursed me. His greedy nature got in the way of doing an honest/competent work on a 70-year-old diabetic woman.
From that point on, he was treating my mom and me with disrespect every time we visited his office. He got annoyed easily every time my mom complained about the pain she was experiencing as he was working on her. This low life had told his office staff and assistants not to chitchat with us when he noticed that they greet and treat us in a friendly manner.
On the visit that turned out to be our last visit, my mother's dentures didn't fit properly again. He considered the job complete though. She was not comfortable with the denture and expressed in no uncertain terms that the dentures are causing pain. But this low life told us that we have to pay for another denture if we are not satisfied. We refused and he threatened to call the security if we don't leave the office. I responded that he can call police if he wants but we will not leave till we get all the records and paperwork. By the time police came, his staff had prepared and given us our dental records. At that point, I was extremely concerned about my mother's heart condition and afraid that she may not be able to handle the stress and decided to leave. This guy not only was incapable of doing a routine root canal, but also not competent enough to do simple dentures. We have a $1200 denture on our hands that my mother can't even use. Stay away at all costs, he is not a dentist and he doesn't run a practice. He runs a business and a bad one indeed.
