As a child, Dr. Nasr remembers, "I was always curious about what made things tick.  I loved to take apart toys, appliances, gadgets..., and figure out how to put them back together."  Today, he enjoys putting his natural inclinations to work as a family …dentist dedicated to implant, cosmetic, and general dentistry.
"I've found that dentistry is as much an art as a science," he says.  "It's my goal to help people achieve a beautiful smile as well as excellent oral health."
Dr. Nasr was born in Brazil and spent his childhood there.  After a brief time in Lebanon, his parents' home country, he moved with his family to the Alexandria area.  In the late 70's, he attended TC Williams High School, best known for its Titans football team.
In 1984, Dr. Nasr graduated from the University of Virginia with a BA degree in chemistry.  He went on to receive his DDS degree in 1988 from the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond.  From there, he returned to northern Virginia and practiced in Alexandria, Stafford, and Burke before launching his own practice in Crystal City.
Thanks in part to his international experience, Dr. Nasr appreciates a variety of cultures and enjoys a diverse patient base. "It's fun to work with people of all backgrounds and find our common ground," he says.  "Every day, I learn something new from my patients."
