Dr. Fred J Vecchione, DDS

This person that wrote a review about CNN -it is not Dr Fred Vecchione -it is Dr.John Vecchione an oral surgeon in North Jersey-he doesn't even know him . This happened with google and google is being sued for defemination of character and not verifying accurate posts. I would advise Vital to remove this immediately.

There is a 2020 CNN article about him being sued and having his license suspended for his patients dying and getting heart infections due to his poor hygiene that this website will not allow me to share due to their policy of not allowing URLs in reviews. Please Google “Fred Vecchione CNN” to read the article. He removed my wisdom teeth over 10 years ago. I’ll never forget because I was sick for over 6 months and had to see several other oral surgeons, one of whom said it looked like Dr. Vecchione had scraped my wisdom teeth out with a spoon. When the state sues a doctor for medical malpractice, something is severely wrong. He shouldn’t still be practicing. Someone else left a review on Google noting that Dr. Vecchione’s patients had died/gotten heart infections and Dr. Vecchione had the nerve to deny it. He is a liar. This man has had his online reputation scrubbed. And I’m sure he’s paid people to post false positive reviews. In addition to the medical malpractice, he had us… patients line up and wait in his waiting room like cattle. I waited for 4 hours to see him. His all-female staff (including his wife, and who were all very kind) were clearly terrified of him. I wish I could give a zero-star review. The medical profession protects its own and it’s not easy to leave a negative review of a doctor online, no matter how honest it is, especially on medically-affiliated websites. If you are considering seeing him, please at least do your research and understand the health risks that you’re taking on. Beware.

Dr Vecchione and his entire staff are amazing. They made my daughter’s wisdom tooth removal so easy and helped her tremendously with her nervousness. I am a nurse and this office runs like an OR completely sterile beyond spotless. Highly recommend.

My son Jason was asked by his dentist to see an oral surgeon to have his wisdom teeth looked at. I called Dr Vecchione's office,from the conversation I was made to feel very comfortable.Also,they were willing to help with my insurance. My son was terrified,the doctor and the staff made it as pleasant an experience as possible .Also, the office is immaculate.I will not hesitate calling them again for any family needs and of course I 100 % recommend them to all my friends and family.

After struggling for a year with two molars each having an initial root canal and then a repeated one, the mild pain and sensitivity started to become more intense pain. My dentist referred me to Dr. Vecchione. He offered either local anesthesia or IV sedation (my choice). Sedation made it so much easier than previous extraction experiences. Excellent instructions, medication as needed, and it was perhaps the easiest dental visit I've ever had. I definitely recommend him.

No compassion

I went as an emergency and was very nervous.The staff and doctor were outstanding. I would definitely recommend this office.Everything went very well.

By far Dr.Vecchione is the best doctor I have gone to in along time. He removed my daughter’s wisdom teeth. At the consult, everything was explained in detail, all my questions were answered in a pleasant matter. The office is beyond immaculate. The staff is very caring and professional. As far as the administrative staff they worked hard to get almost everything covered by my insurance. I also brought my 80 yr old mother for a lot of extractions before dentures. She too was coddled through the entire procedure. I would definitely recommend this office.
