Dr. Gwendolyn B Brown

Dr. Brown is a Family General Dental practitioner offering comprehensive
care for the entire family. She provides services such as Cosmetic
Dentistry, Whitening, Clear Braces (Clear Correct ) certified Orthodontics,
Crowns, Bridges, and Dentures. Dr. Brown & her Staff  strive to provide a
comfortable environment for her patients, whether that means providing
music or various relaxing techniques such as Gas or Oral Sedation.
Dr. Brown, is a native  Charlestonian. Honor Graduate of Burke High
School,  Graduate of The University of South Carolina - Columbia with a  
Bachelor of  Science Degree in Pharmacy.  Dr. Brown worked as a
Pharmacist in Retail & Hospital Pharmacy  several years  before she
attended dental school. Dr. Brown graduated from the Medical University
of South Carolina with a Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree.
Dr. Brown & Associates Family Dentistry has been serving the Charleston
area community since their establishment  in 1987.  
Dr. Brown is married to Linus …Brown and is the mother of 2 daughters,
Elizabeth, a Hampton University student, and Christina a student at  the
Academic Magnet High School.
Dr. Brown is a Fellow in the American College of Dentists. She is also a
member of the American Dental Association; South Carolina Dental  
Association, South Carolina Dental Association-Coastal District, member
of the Palmetto Medical, Dental, Pharmaceutical Association & the
National Dental Association.
Dr. Brown is a faculty member & Director of Diversity for the College of
Dental Medicine at the  Medical University of South Carolina where she is
on the Admissions Committee and Mentors and Recruits Dental Students.
Dr. Brown is a member of Friends of MUSC Minority Scholarship
Committee.
Dr. Brown is President of Charleston Chapter of Jack and Jill of America,
Inc. and is a member of  Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church.
