Summary
Introduction
   I was born and raised in Manila, Philippines. When we moved to the Bay Area, I attended St. Robert's School in San Bruno and Burlingame High School.  I crossed the bay to complete a degree in Molecular and Cell Biology at UC Berkeley.  I earned my Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree at UC San Francisco.
I am lucky to have a diverse patient pool, which lets me practice speaking Tagalog and Spanish. To stay informed of new techniques and equipment, I attend numerous Continuing Education courses. I am a member of the following groups:
  * American Dental Association
  * California Dental Association
  * San Mateo County Dental Society
In May 2010, I married my high school sweetheart, Eric. We love new adventures with family and friends, especially through travel and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen. I regularly practice yoga and enjoy neighborhood runs.

New Year's Resolutions... Flossing …daily, anyone?
It seems that many people resolve for better health when the new year comes around -- more exercise, eating better food. How about flossing every day before going to sleep? Our gums need more care and attention as we get older, and they help support our teeth!

We hiked the North Peak Trail in Montara, Half Moon Bay with our friends to see a gorgeous panoramic view of the peninsula.

Inspired by a patient...
     I recently made my first donation to the non-profit group "Locks of Love." They provide free wigs to disadvantaged children suffering from long-term medical hair loss. A patient told me about Locks of Love and how such a simple gift can be so meaningful to a child's social development. Now this is something I can do every few years -- inspired by a patient!
