Upon returning to New Orleans, he joined the Louisiana State University Plastic Surgery staff and ultimately became an Associate Professor of Clinical Surgery. He is currently the Chief of the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at LSU. Dr. St-Hilaire has authored multiple peer-reviewed articles and book chapters and has lectured in …regional, national, and international settings.
Dr. St-Hilaire has been instrumental in establishing multiple breast reconstruction practices in the region. He has also been involved in international microsurgical missions in Guatemala and Ecuador.
Dr. St-Hilaire enjoys spending his free time with his wife, Brooke, and six children (CD, Adele, Ellie, Caroline, Ana Rose, and JP).
