Awesome oral surgeon. Highly recommend. He is very knowledgeable and technically excellent.

I was referred by my dentist (Johnson City, TN). After evaluating me in his office, Dr. Gotcher scheduled a right mandible debridement in day surgery. Fortunately, (yesterday) the procedure went well, no complications, and plan to follow up with him next week. He is so kind, considerate, and took the time to inform me and my husband of the procedure, possible complications, and follow up care. I highly recommend him to anyone that needs oral surgery! In addition, his office staff was so kind and patient in answering my questions. For the first office visit, I was scheduled and placed on a waiting list in case of a cancellation. I was contacted by the office and was able to get in a couple of weeks earlier. Thank you for you kindness and professionalism.

I have been a patient for over 20 years. When I was 16, Dr. Gotcher did jaw reconstructive surgery on me and I did not have one issue. Now, 20 years later, I am having jaw issues that are not related to the first surgery. I was thrilled that Dr. Gotcher was still in practice and made an appointment immediately. He remembered my surgery and the details that I had forgotten, but were accurate. He is currently working with me to fix my current jaw issues. I will never go anywhere else as long as he is in practice. I will gladly drive an hour and a half to get to his office. Not to mention, every single one of the ladies that work there are extremely nice and genuinely care about each of the patients.

We initially began our journey with Dr Gotcher in the trauma unit a year ago and have followed through with him for several surgeries. He is a very patient doctor and takes the time to answer as many questions as you may have. He is an expert in his field and would give him 10 stars if I could.

Dr. Gotcher treated my son in the trauma unit, outpatient oral and maxillofacial surgery, and additional follow-up surgery. From the beginning, we felt reassured by his calmness, knowledge, and skill set. The hospital gave us difficulties with our insurance but my son insisted on Dr. Gotcher treating him versus going elsewhere. My son has had a wonderful outcome with his multiple facial fractures, dental fractures, and ultimate referral to Dr. LoCascio for additional services. Dr. Gotcher is a very patient man, took time to explain procedures and never seemed to be in a hurry. He is often on call with the trauma unit and this can make scheduling appointments in his office challenging but he is definitely worth every minute you may have to wait.

I called to confirm my insurance, and I was told 3 separate times that it was accepted. We were called and reminded to be there at 8 not 8:30 we were the first appointment for the day.. We arrived at 7:50 AM signed in and had a seat. The temperature was 52 degrees. We were freezing. Finally at 10:10 AM we left with all of our information. We were told that he was in surgery. No one called to reschedule. This has been the most incompetent and disrespectfully office visit that I have ever been a part of. I will never go there again.
