Greetings and Welcome to AlongiPeriodontics.com! Dr. James A. Alongi has been serving the Garden City, Nassau County and Ridgewood, Queens County area since 1982.  Dr. Alongi is a specialist in all phases of periodontics and surgical placement of dental implants.Dr. Alongi is bilingual with Spanish as his second language.  All phases of treatment are performed solely by Dr. Alongi including examinations, scaling and root planing and any necessary periodontal and/or implant surgery.  Once completed Dr. Alongi will monitor your case personally at periodic periodontal maintenance/cleaning visits, which he also performs. Dr. Alongi's logical and compassionate approach to your periodontal treatment is paramount; exhibiting competency, responsibility, and reliability.  Our staff is courteous and is always available for any questions you may have. Continuing education is a key ingredient to improve patient care.  Periodontology is an ever changing and evolving field, with research at its core.  Dr. Alongi has more than 1,000 hours of continuing dental education registered with New York State Dental Association to keep current with the latest research and technology.  Dr. Alongi lectures nationally and internationally on periodontal surgical and non-surgical treatment and techniques.
