Dr. James Hastings has practiced general and cosmetic dentistry in the Placerville area for more than 25 years. He is a fitness enthusiast, and a student of the art and science of dentistry. Dr. Hastings enjoys outdoor activities including running, cycling, hiking and backpacking, and aviation. His affiliation with the prestigious American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (www.aacd.com) has added immensely to his knowledge and appreciation of general dentistry. He has authored many scientific articles and lectured to other dentists in the United States, Canada and Mexico. He will be President of the AACD in 2014-15. Dr. Hastings says that the most enjoyable aspect of dental practice is getting to know his patients and to help them to attain better dental health.
