Dr. Jefferson Michael Pecora

About Dr. Pecora
Born and raised in the northeastern part of Pennsylvania, Dr. Pecora came to Sarasota after operating his own private dental practice in Bucks County, outside of Philadelphia, for seven years. He has been in private practice in Sarasota since 1996.
Dr. Pecora's philosophy of practice focuses on aesthetic, restorative, and preventative dentistry. While "smile makeovers" are a large part of his work, he understands that they may not be for everyone, so he and his staff also cater to families and listen to the patients' wants and needs, while offering the most up-to-date procedures.
With degrees from The University of Pittsburgh and Temple University School of Dentistry, Dr. Pecora also keeps abreast of new techniques in aesthetic dentistry by taking an extraordinary amount of continuing education; he has well over 700 hours to date. He has received advanced education in orthodontics from Boston University as well as training in the placement and restoration of dental …implants from Harvard.
When he's not in the office, you can find Dr. Pecora out on the water boating or in the air flying (he holds a private pilot's license). He is also a sports car and motorcycle enthusiast. Additionally, he teaches High Preformance driving with various motorsports vehicles.
Dr. Pecora prefers a lower volume of patients in order to retain a high quality of service and care. He and his staff emphasize personal service and enjoy building one-on-one relationships. Their office is always accepting new patients.
Dr. Pecora is a member of The Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, American Association of Cosmetic Dentistry, West Coast Dental, Florida Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Sarasota County Dental Association, and the Sarasota Chamber of Commerce.
