Dr. Jeffrey K Colburn

The receptionist is contentious and incompetent. Once, she asked me if I still had the same insurance, I told her I did, but the proceedure in question for which she wanted to give me an appointment was not covered. She snapped at me and said, "that is not what I asked you." I replied that I was sick of her rudeness. I told her I was hanging up. This was the third time she had barked at me. She called back and said that if I was offended, she apologized. That is rude and passive agressive. She then said the cost of the proceedure in question was $450 for me and my insurance would match my payment. I told her again that the proceedure was not covered on my insurance plan and that I would call her back. I never did call her back. I had enough of her. I believe Dr. Colburn has good skills, but he tended to lecture me and tell me what he was going to do. I need a dentist to tell me what he thinks should be done and we discuss what he thinks, along with other options. Then we… come up with a treatment plan that we both agree with. A written treatment plan is not optional, it is a must. Ignoring patient requests for a written treatment plan is not tolerable. Also, get digital x rays so you won't have to take a picture of an old fashion x ray and send to the new dentists.

Great doctor. His work speaks for itself and the office staff has improved.

Love the ease he had with my Child....did a great job on Giving hima winning smile....But his OFFICE STAFF OMG! They treat a person like a second class citizen and the one in charge has had to been a prison guard in another life.
