Dr. Jeffrey Steven Rhind

The billing clerk at City Dental is the most unprofessional receptionist I've ever encountered. I had heard her argue with and make negative comments about patients after they left the office so I expect that she has made similar remarks about me. I was treated at the office for the replacement of a crown (molar) a couple of years ago and felt the charge was excessive, I contacted my insurance carrier right always to inquire and learned that I have been over charged. When I brought this to the clerkâ??s attention, she immediately became defensive, argumentative and dismissive. A call from my insurance company resolved the discrepancy. Just had my second visit there for same type of treatment and I WILL NEVER GO BACK! I was overcharged again, same response from her and this time she actually screamed "OH, GOD!!!" out loud on the phone. With all of the self control I could muster, I explained to her what type of customer service I expected and deserved. When I return to complete the… procedure, I will explain to Dr. Rhind WHY I will not be returning. The office is now closed an additional day during the week - I'm wondering if he knows why he is losing patients. I talked with other former patients of his and learned that they received the same level of "dis" service. She is a perfect candidate for a justified termination. I contacted my insurance company and selected another doctor. Tip: Always ask for the billing (CDT) code for procedures and verify your co-pay with your insurance company.
