Dr. Justin Aaron Shuffer

Dr.Justin A. Shuffer, DDS Dr. Shuffer was born and raised in Los Angeles and was an honors graduate of California State University, Los Angeles with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology.  After college, Dr.Shuffer spent 2 years teaching middle school children and ran several non-profit programs geared towards college preparedness. Dr.Shuffer attended UCLA to achieve his Doctorate in Dental Surgery.  During dental school, a predilection towards children and individuals with special needs was born which led him to Fresno, CA to do a 1 year hospital residency at both Community Medical Center Level I trauma hospital and Cental Valley Veterans Affairs. Eager to return home, Dr.Shuffer returned to Los Angeles to complete a 2 year hospital residency in Pediatric Dentistry at UCLA, serving as chief resident during his time.  Dr.Shuffer holds a Faculty position at UCLA School of Dentistry, Section of Pediatric Dentistry and volunteers his time at the Children's Dental Cottage in Los Angeles, CA.  Dr.Shuffer currently holds staff privileges at the Covina Surgery Center to treat children with special needs as well as children with extensive surgical demands. Dr. Shuffer is licensed by the Dental Board of California and is an executive board member of the Southern California Society of Dentistry for Children, a Trustee for the California Society of Pediatric Dentistry Foundation, and a board member of UCLA Friends of Pediatric Dentistry.
