I moved from the Victorville area in 2017 and spending 6+ hours driving to/from Victorville to just have my teeth cleaned seemed a bit much. I received a flyer from "Crossroads Family Dental Care" X-rays and Cleaning for a very reasonable price, around $70, so I took them up on it. When Cleaning and X-rays were done the dentist came in and informed me that I had a cavity in a rear Molar that would require that the Wisdom tooth behind it be removed and a root canal and a cap be performed on the tooth. Also the dentist asked me if I was getting food stuck between my teeth on the other side and I said yes, he said he could build up one of the teeth to stop that from happing. Oh, and very eagerly said that he could do it all right then and there. I asked how much. He sent in his "financial" person. She said that it would cost just under $2,000. I was shocked and said I was on a fixed income and could not afford it at that time and would have to think about it. Paid them the… ˜$70 and left. A few weeks later I went to Victorville to keep a cleaning appointment previously made, the trip I was trying to avoid by having my teeth cleaned here in AZ. I had the cleaning done, the Dentist said my teeth just need a little cleaning and that I was doing a good job brushing and the Dentist said I had a cavity in a rear Molar. I then asked him if the root canal and cap could be performed in one visit or would it require two or more visits, I was thinking of the driving. He almost laughed at me saying it was just a small cavity that did not even come close to requiring a root canal procedure. He could not do the procedure right then as they were swamped. I made an appointment for a week or two later. The cavity was filled along with the buildup on the tooth/teeth that I was getting food stuck between. The cost was $380 total. Seems to me the dentist at "Crossroads Family Dental Care" just saw dollars signs when I walked in if not when anyone walks in. I also thought that Doctors took a Pledge/Oath of "do no harm" maybe he had his fingers crossed when he took it. DO NOT TRUST THIS dentist PLEASE GET A SECOND OPINION.
