Chief of Dentistry
Kevin Buyck, DDS
Dr. Kevin Buyck spent several years in the banking and insurance fields, but made a career change and received his DDS from SUNY Buffalo in 1998.
He spent seven years as a staff dentist and director at an Article 28 clinic in Rochester before deciding to relocate to the Capital Region. A major factor in Dr. Buyck’s choice to join the staff at New Dimensions in Health Care in 2005 was the opportunity to work with many patients with disabilities, which he particularly enjoys. In June of 2006, he assumed duties of the Chief of Dentistry.
His co-workers praise Dr. Buyck …for the caring and respectful manner in which he interacts with both patients and staff. We are grateful to have him leading the dental team at New Dimensions. Posted 032808
Natalie Barclay, DDS
Dr. Barclay, joined the Health Center in 2009 and is a valued member of the New Dimensions team. A native of London, England, she came to the Health Center from Hawthorne, a small town in Florida.
Dr. Barclay has provided dental services for the U.S. Army. She earned her doctorate in dentistry in Nashville, Tennessee, and did some post-doctoral work in New York City. While there, she became aware of the upstate area and is pleased to have this opportunity to relocate. Posted 100809
Elizabeth A. Powell, DDS
Dr. Elizabeth A. Powell, was born in Oklahoma and currently lives in Texas. She began at New Dimensions on October 12. Prior to attending dental school, Dr. Powell received her Masters degree in Public Health from Georgetown University in Washington, DC, and worked in the Public Health field in Washington for several years, prior to continuing her education. Much of her work in public health was in the field of women’s health programs. She attended the NYU College of Dentistry; after receiving her Doctorate, she completed a residency at the Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center Dental Department. Until her decision to join the Dental Department at New Dimensions in Health Care, Dr. Powell had been practicing general dentistry at Fort Hood Military Base, Fairbanks Dental Clinic,Fort Hood, Texas. The staff welcomes Dr. Powell as the newest member of the team. Posted 122009
