Avoid this clinic – painful, unprofessional, and misleading. Dr. Kevin Shugger insisted on retreating my 10+ year-old root canal despite my request for extraction. He charged $1,600 to insurance and took $300 from me, only to reopen and refill the same root, not perform a full retreatment. The pain after numbing was unbearable, and the office lied multiple times about their hours and failed to send a promised antibiotic prescription—putting my health and my patients at risk. Staff were disrespectful and unprofessional. The assistant addressed me in a degrading way and tossed my appointment card. When I finally went to a dental emergency clinic, they extracted the tooth properly for an additional $950. This clinic cares more about billing insurance than patient well-being. Poor care, lies, and dismissiveness made this the worst dental experience of my life. I’m filing formal complaints and urge others to avoid this place.

I was referred to this dentist for a root canal and had the worst experience with the receptionist to the point where I couldn't even make an appointment. She insinuated that I couldn't pay for services, she misunderstood something I said and interrupted me to yell her question at me and patronized me when I asked what credit cards they take. I wont use them if that is how you are treated upon first contact!

Ruff. Root canal was performed. Seemed to me I was inconviening him. Didn't seem concerned that I was uncomfortable during the procedure. No aftercare instructions. I don't recommend this Endodontist!!

Dr. Kevin is very caring and is an excellent Endodontist! Our entire Family no longer fears the words "Root Canal" due to his exceptional skills and empathy! Thank You Dr. Shugar's and your Wonderful Staff!
