Summary
Dr. Le received her B.S. degree in Dental Hygiene from Old Dominion University in 1995. In 1999 she received her Doctorate Degree in Dental Surgery from The Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry. She went on to complete her postdoctoral residency program in advanced education in general dentistry the following year.
Her main emphasis is in preventive, cosmetic, restorative dentistry and root canal therapy. Her professional memberships include: American Dental Association and the Virginia Dental Association. She devotes a great deal of her time to continuing education each year. This allows her to stay current with new innovations in dentistry. These advances can make dental care more comfortable, more attractive and longer lasting.
Dr. Le finds practicing dentistry very gratifying. She enjoys the technical aspects of dentistry as well as the chance to express her artistic side. Most of all she likes meeting and getting to know the patients. She looks …forward to meeting new and established patients and providing them a beautiful smile.
As an undergraduate Dr. Mercantini attended St. Joseph’s College and Temple University. Dr. Mercantini graduated from the University of New Jersey Dental School in 1972. After graduation from dental school, he served as a commissioned officer in the US Public Health Service in the McLaughlin, South Dakota Dental Clinic where he provided dental care to the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe.
Dr. Mercantini moved to Virginia and began private practice in McLean, Virginia in July of 1974. He moved his dental office to its present location in Reston, Virginia in 1990.
In 1992 Dr. Mercantini was selected as “Reston’s Best Doctor†and has also been regularly rated “high†by the “Washington Consumers Checkbook†and “Washingtonian Magazineâ€.
Dr. Mercantini’s philosophy of practice is to employ the most highly trained people and use the highest quality laboratory and materials to produce successful esthetic results. He and his staff will help you maintain quality dental health in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
