Not an ethical or competent orthodontist. I had jaw surgery and post op she nearly collapsed my lower arch that has thin bone (which she claims to not have been able to see on a cbct scan) because I told her I wanted to end treatment which she did not respect. She also doesn't know what a medical record is so dont expect too much from her. She prolonged my time in braces using an impossible clinical goal as a pretext because I had a high profile surgeon. Keep tabs if she hands you elastics and tells you that progress is dependant on you being compliant with wearing them. If months pass and you don't see progress despite wearing them, the problem isn't you. The lack of progress is the point until she hits her financial goal. Don't let that fake high pitched voice she puts on fool you, she's extremely manipulative and doesn't care at all about your time or health. Be prepared to have appts almost every 3 months which is spaced apart far longer than most orthos space appts and pay nearly… double what other orthos charge.

Dr. Romani runs a very tight ship! The assistants are very nice and put patients at ease. The layout of the office is nice and open (Chepachet). The office staff is excellent at discussing and explaining what needs to be done and how payments can be made. The assistants also look great--they all wear the same scrubs. Dr. Romani gives back to community all the time and treats her staff to wonderful outings as a group. I would recommend her to any one who needs orthodontic work.
