Dr. Kristina Anne Mackie

Dr. Kristina Mackie
Born in Omaha, NE but raised in McAllen, TX, I consider myself a true Texan.  I first discovered my love of dentistry at a young age and chose to attend Med High in Mercedes, TX to better foster this interest.  After graduation, I relocated to pursue my undergraduate studies at the University of Texas San Antonio, where I gained acceptance into the Dental Early Admission Program (DEAP) affiliated with San Antonio’s Health Science Center Dental School.   In 2002, I graduated Cum Laude from UTSA with a B.S. in Biology and obtained my D.D.S. in 2006 from UTHSCSA, where I received recognition for clinical excellence. While in dental school, I was a member of the American Student Dental Association and Xi Psi Phi Dental Fraternity.  My professional affiliations include the American Dental Association and Texas Dental Association.
In November 2006, I married my husband Thomas, and a year later we welcomed our first child, Allyson Belen, into the world. I enjoy …water sports on Lake Lewisville, tennis, walks, and travel and continue to cultivate a love for drawing and painting, first discovered as a child. 
 As a dentist, I understand the significance of the doctor-patient relationship and work closely with every patient to facilitate meeting their needs and expectations.  I find it a privilege to utilize my skills and knowledge to serve the dental community, and it is my objective to work cohesively with our team at Cross Timbers Dental to provide optimal dental care for the entire family.
