Dr. Lawrence Joseph Pijut

I have anxiety when it comes to any doctor including dentists, and I have to say Dr. Pijut was the best experience I have had in a very long time with the medical field. He was very patient, polite, and caring; he didn't hesitate to answer all my questions and listen to my concerns (which were a lot). I went to see him because I needed my wisdom teeth extracted, he made sure I never felt pain during the procedure, and it has been over a week and I haven't felt any pain or discomfort. I am very grateful with him and his staff for being so caring.

"INSURANCE FRAUD"!!!!! Please stay away from this dentistry. This man and his entire staff provided TERRIBLE service, had NO professionalism, insensitive, rude, sarcastic and lairs. He was disdainful, irate and aggressive. I had to call the Tallahassee police on Dr. pijunt because drive 5 hour to get the piece of plastic material removed from my sons teeth that I paid almost $700 for before he started his procedure and I have a great insurance provider. Due to COVID-19 we could not travel so his original appt was rescheduled. I filed a full police report regarding his failure to render services for my son. I will also be filing complaints to FL dentistry board and request an investigation of his fees. It is too much drama to put in this review. Just know I was charged almost $3000 for the procedure that only took 5-15 to put on his teeth and he removed with the police officers negation to resolve the issue in 2 MINUTES FLAT!!! I am not exaggerating!! Check the police body cam footage.

This man should not be allowed to practice he pulled one of my wisdom teeth and supposably sedated me. I was never sedated. I paid over $500.00 my insurance paid $500.00 then sent me a bill for another $200.00. I told them I would not pay. I never had that much pain getting a tooth pulled and then turned me over to the credit bureau. Use someone elese.

Only choosing one star because I have to. This man should NOT NOT NOT be in business!! He has 0 bed side manner. I went in for my extraction and let them know I had a tiny tiny sip of water literally less than a teaspoon and they told me that it was deathly, that it could aspirate into my lungs. I guess he thought I was young and not educated because the only thing that would aspirate into my lungs during surgery would be a foreign object from the removal which would be entirely his fault, nothing to do with drinking water. Also, they say if you have any medications that you have to take you can do so with teaspoon of water so I really did not think rinsing my mouth out first thing that morning and only swallowing what was left would be a problem. In the office when he was asking about my water intake I stated that they said it was okay to drink a teaspoon and what do you tell the people that have to take medicine. He looked at my chart and said " Well, I do not see here where you… have any medications that you have to take so I don't know why you drank any water. He then said he could do the procedure with just the gas for all four of my teeth. I advised him that I have extreme anxiety and have had a horrible experience with getting a tooth pulled already and that I did not feel okay doing it with just gas; he then proceeded to tell me I would have to pay a cancellation fee. I left crying he was so rude to me. He should NOT be able to talk to people that way. SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE ABOUT THIS MAN.

A representative from Lawrence Pijut's office blatantly misinformed me of the cost of my procedures. Both parties were aware that I had no insurance and therefore there should have been no ambiguities involving cost. I sent them a letter expressing my concerns regarding the bill and received a letter back that indicated no one had read the letter. This consistent failure to acknowledge communications with customers is unacceptable.

Everyone is patient and kind. The doctor was pleasant. Office is nice and clean.
