Dr. Lennie D Wong

Dr. Lennie Wong is a native Oregonian having lived most of his life in the Portland area. He has lived and practiced in the Beaverton area for the past sixteen years, and he is thrilled to be a part of this community.
"This community epitomizes the kind of values and lifestyle that I want for myself and my family. In particular: friendly, wholesome, healthy and environmentally conscious living."
He is dedicated to living and promoting this healthy lifestyle equally as much into his dental office. Having been a partner and owner of Beaverton TenderCare since 1998, he is excited about their continuous effort to operate a truly "green" office. They are implementing dental practices and materials with the goal of conserving the environment, using non-toxic materials and renewable resources, and finding ways to reduce waste. By 2011, he hopes to achieve the highest level of certification currently recognized by the ECO Dentistry Association.
Dr. Wong absolutely loves dentistry and all of …its many facets. He is always eager to keep abreast with the latest technology and to provide the best care he can to his patients. He is constantly enrolled in post-doctoral education in all aspects of dentistry including cosmetic dentistry, dental implants and orthodontics through Invisalign. In 2007, he distinguished himself amongst his peers by being awarded the highly regarded Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry in a special ceremony in San Diego, California. In August 2011, he is scheduled to embark on his first international dental mission to Central America with Medical Teams International.
"Every single day, I cherish the fact that I have made a difference in someone's life. Sometimes it's because I have taken their pain away, other times I transform a person's smile. Yet other times, it's not even related to dentistry. I might share a funny story with a patient that makes everyone laugh."
Dr. Wong and his wife lead a very active life, especially considering they have an nineteen-year-old daughter, a fifteen-year-old son, and a three-year-old son, Kaden. Dr. Wong says it takes all four of them just to keep up with little Kaden! Although his greatest passion is to travel and spend time with friends and family, Dr. Wong also loves photography, hiking, riding his classic Honda Nighthawk motorcycle, and zipping around in his little white SMART car.
