He graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1968. After studying cardiovascular physiology for one year, Dr. Wilk enrolled in the College of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.
After receiving his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 1972, Dr. Wilk spent two years as a captain and commanding officer in the U.S. Army at Fort Stuart, Georgia practicing dentistry.
He then returned to Pennsylvania where he entered a residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Dr. Wilk is part of the consulting staff at Pocono Medical Center. He is a member of the American Dental Association and Pennsylvania Dental Association.
Dr. Wilk enjoys spending time with his family, which also includes a variety of four-legged friends--horses, dogs and cats! He is an avid skier and has been a member of the Camelback …volunteer ski patrol for over twenty years. He is also a scuba diver and enjoys traveling.
