Dr. Marcel Korn, DDS

I received a recommendation from my dentist to have my work done through Dr. Korn. While the orthodontia work has been passable, it does not make up for the horrid experience. Having had orthodontia work done in the past, I know what a good office experience is supposed to look like. Everything having to do with the treatment phase has been an ordeal. His office staff, except for one technician, is incredibly rude and makes no attempt to accommodate patients' needs. They routinely overbook patients and in my 10 months of treatment I have never been taken on time for an appointment. Dr. Korn himself is incredibly rude with his staff, to the point of making it very uncomfortable for the patients who have to listen to this while sitting in the treatment rooms. He gives no explanation of what is being done with the treatment that day and when an adult patient tries to ask a question they are treated like children. While one technician is fantastic, the other is too hurried in her approach… and has cut the inside of my cheeks a number of times due to rushing in trying to replace a wire or slipping with instruments. I deeply regret having spent my hard earned money at this practice.

While it is evident that Dr. Korn is well educated in his field, he has a lot to learn about respectful treatment towards patients and their families. Dr. Korn tends not to ever listen, but always wants to be heard. He is extremely gruff, and borders on unprofessional behavior. We expect the respect we give to be returned and are appalled at his tactic of verbal bullying to get what he wants instead of maturely, professionally and respectfully communicating to patients and their families... would highly recommend seeking another teacher!!

I went to Dr. Korn for a couple of years as an adult for braces. He came highly recommeded. Numerous times I noticed he was short with his staff, although a few of them have been there for years, so that is perplexing to me. Last time I was in I waited for about 45 minutes while my meter ran out, and then on top if it he was rude and condescending.
