Dr. Mark A Ohara

 Dr. Mark O'Hara began his career in dentistry as a dental assistant for six years in the Navel Reserves.  During this time he completed his undergraduate requirements and then graduated from the Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1980.
 Upon graduating he moved to the Northwest for Oregon's beauty and wide array of outdoor activities.  His favorite activity is fishing in the Pacific Ocean and Oregon's numerous rivers and lakes.
 Dr. O'Hara has over twenty-five years of experience in the same location.  He prides himself on the long term experienced staff he has assembled to provide the highest quality dental care to his patients. He doesn't plan on retiring anytime soon; in fact he enjoys dentistry so much he returned to school part time in 2010 at the Oregon Health Sciences University School of Dentistry to complete the highly acclaimed one year Maxi Dental Implant course, the only recognized accredited implantology course currently in existence.
 Because of Dr. …O'Hara's expanded dental surgical skills we are able to offer our patients the most advanced techniques and materials in tooth restoration, and cosmetic dentistry.
 Professional Associations:  Lane County Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, Oregon Dental Association, American Dental Association and the Emerald Dental Research Group.
 He has attended numerous professional courses throughout his professional career to insure his skills, techniques and materials are the most state-of-the art in dentistry.
 On a more personal note:  Dr. Mark O'Hara has been married to Mary Jane for over twenty-five years.  They have two adult children Katelyn and Kyle, a wonderful son-in-law Tyler Clark and new grand-daughter Lily Jane.  The O'Hara children are following in their Dad's caregiving footsteps, Katelyn will graduate from OHSU Medical School in June, 2011 and Kyle is finishing his undergraduate Science degree and plans on applying for Dental School.  In addiction, Tyler Clark will graduate in June, 2011 from OHSU Dental School.
