Welcome Dr. Ian Leopold
Dr. Mark Leopold, Dr. Nicholas Murphy, and Dr. Craig Main are very happy to announce the arrival of Mark’s son Dr. Ian Leopold to our practice as a general dentist.
Ian grew up in San Luis Obispo and received his bachelor’s degree in biology from Cal Poly. While attending school, he worked in our dental lab preparing crowns and other restorations. He returns to the practice after graduating with honors from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in 2010.
In addition to general and family dentistry, Ian has a special interest in the dental surgical disciplines. He is participating in a fellowship program with the California Implant Institute in addition to other continuing education courses in the surgical specialties.
Dr. Ian Leopold will follow in family tradition, joining his father Dr. Mark Leopold and uncle Dr. Nicholas Murphy as a dentist in our San Luis Obispo practice. …In his spare time he enjoys hiking, fishing, riding his motorcycle, and playing tennis.
