    Dedicated to providing the best dental care possible, Dr. Marla Coleman has practiced dentistry for more than 20 years and has served the Atlanta community over 17 years. She combines competent quality care and professional service with compassionate gentle treatment of her patients. Her commitment to her patients and community are recognized throughout the metropolitan area.
    Dr. Coleman is a 1985 graduate of Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN, where she earned her D.D.S. (Doctor of Dental Surgery) degree. She was the first woman to serve as President of the Meharry dental student body. After graduation, Dr. Coleman taught on the staff of the Dental School and practiced dentistry in Nashville.
    A native of Atlanta Georgia, Dr. Coleman received her B.S. from Clark College and her M.S from Atlanta University, now Clark–Atlanta University. She is a product of the Atlanta Public Schools where she attended …Booker T. Washington High School and M. Agnes Jones Elementary School. She is proud to have a practice in the neighborhood she grew up in.
    Dr. Coleman is active in both professional and civic organizations. She was appointed to the Small & Minority Business Development Advisory Committee, served on the Fulton/Dekalb Hospital Authority, the board that oversees the Grady Health System and is a member of the Georgia Dental Advisory Committee (Doral Dental-CMO for the State of Georgia). Dr. Coleman is past President of the North Georgia Dental Society and has membership in the National Dental Association, Georgia Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
    Marla O. Coleman is the founder and president of Coleman Dental Associates, PC, where her staff is professionally trained to assist patients with their dental needs. Dr. Coleman firmly believes that caring for your teeth is an important factor in promoting your general good heath. Although the cost of dental treatment may hinder people, “the key to reducing dental costs is prevention.” “Preventive dentistry begins with a regular check up program”. “Small problems can be corrected and need not become large expensive problems.” Preventive dentistry makes good sense. 
    Dr. Coleman is the daughter of Gwendolyn Cox Coleman and the late Carter E. Coleman, Sr. She is married to Kelvin J. Holloway, and they have one son, Sean.
