Dr Mary-Stuart Gallian maintains a full time practice in downtown Fairfax that is dedicated to comprehensive restorative and cosmetic dentistry for the whole family.  Dr Gallian understands first impressions are important and a healthy attractive smile can boost your confidence and enhance your personal and professional life.  She wants her patients to look and feel their best, as well as having a healthy mouth.  
Dr Gallian earned her undergraduate degree from The University of the South, Sewanee, Tennessee in Psychology and Anthropology.  She went on to do post-graduate work at The University of Missouri, St Louis in Microbiology.  She received her DMD from The University of Alabama at Birmingham, School of Dentistry.  However, she does not consider her education complete, and continues to enhance her skills and knowledge base through continuing education courses for herself and her staff.
Dr Gallian is a native of Alabama.  Her interest in …dentistry developed at a young age when her mother had braces, and continued to expand as she worked along side her father as his dental assistant throughout High School and College.  She was a partner in her fathers practice after dental school, until her husband’s career led her to Northern Virginia.  She joined Dr Richard Line as a partner and took over the practice when he retired.  The practice was a family practice that Dr Richard Line inherited from his father, who also practiced here in Fairfax.  Her goal is to combine the conservative dental ideals instilled in her by her father, with the best of modern dental techniques.
Dr Gallian is a member of the American Dental Association,  the Academy of General Dentistry, the Northern Virginia Dental Association, and the NOVA Institute for Advanced Dental Education.
