M. Gabrielle Thodas, DDS, MSD
M. Gabrielle Thodas graduated with honors from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry. She practiced general dentistry for sixteen years and was a clinical instructor of Fixed Prosthodontics for three years. Dr. Thodas returned to the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry for the two-year graduate residency program in orthodontics.  She completed her residency with both a certificate and a Master's Degree in orthodontics. She was an instructor in the Graduate Department of Orthodontics at the University for three years. In 2005 Dr. Thodas received her Board Certification.
Dr. Thodas’ practice philosophy is to provide patients with quality orthodontic care as an adjunct to the quality dental care they receive at their general dentist’s office. Consequently she believes in coordinating care with the primary caregiver, the general dentist, and maintaining close communication with the general dentist throughout …treatment. Patients are always given several treatment options to consider before a final course of treatment is initiated.
Dr. Thodas has served on the Board of Directors of the Pacific Dental Education Foundation of the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry. She is the Past-President of the Orthodontic Alumni Association of the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry. She also belongs to the Pacific Coast Orthodontic Consultation Group. Dr. Gabrielle Thodas is married to Dr. Gary Thodas. They have four grown children. Her hobbies include knitting and gardening and she is working on the master’s status in knitting.
