A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh in 1982, Dr. Marybeth Shaffer completed a general practice dental residency in Youngstown, Ohio prior to embarking on her dental career. Enjoying a passion for excellence in dentistry, Dr. Shaffer pursued a continuum of training at the world renowned Pankey Institute in Miami, Florida along with a host of other educational endeavors. Today she enjoys a small, casual practice that welcomes patients as friends and focuses on comprehensive, esthetic, and ethical care. Dr. Shaffer along with her superb staff have developed a mission to provide quality, caring, personalized dental treatment with comfortable and predictable outcomes with a fee commensurate with their training.
Because of these values Dr. Shaffer has been an active member of her professional dental society, the Corydon Palmer Dental Society, the Ohio Dental Society, and the American Dental Society. She has chaired the Ohio Dental Association’s Council of …Education and Licensure and currently serves on the Ohio Dental Association annual session committee. She is a limited service instructor at Youngstown State University. She also serves as an active panel member for the Ohio State Dental Board’s Quality Intervention Program.
