I have great things to say about Dr. Coons and the entire team. From the moment you walk in, you’re treated with genuine kindness, professionalism, and care. The office is spotless, calm, and welcoming, and they somehow make even dental visits feel stress-free. Dr. Coons is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and thorough—everything is explained clearly, and I never feel rushed or talked down to. They truly care about long-term dental health, not just quick fixes. The staff is just as wonderful: friendly, attentive, and always going the extra mile to make sure you’re comfortable. If you’re looking for a dentist you can truly trust (and maybe even enjoy visiting), this is the place. Highly, highly recommend!

Dr. Coons and his staff are very caring about any dental problem you might have. They have a cnc machine that can make a crown while you wait. When my wife or myself have a problem they seem to always make a time for us with no problems. I would recommend Dr. Coons to anyone in need of dental work.

Dr Coons and his staff are always very friendly and caring about any needs my wife or I have. Always ready to help. Would recommend Dr Coons to anyone who is looking for a excellent dentist and a staff that is friendly and cares about their patients.

I’m sitting in Dr. Coons dental chair right now and my crown is being made. I’ve always had to wait a few weeks to get the permanent but here it’s done in the same visit. It’s much more convenient.

Dr. Coons did a bridge and it looks great. I was worried about it because it’s in the front and I didn’t want it to be noticeable. Also, he did it in one appointment so the embarrassing space was gone forever in about an hour and a half. :)

I just left with a crown done in one appointment. First time for that and it’s so much more convenient.

We’re new to Atascadero and Dr. Coons was recommended by someone from my church. I had a great dentist in Ventura and I didn’t think I would ever find one as good as her. Dr. Coons proved me wrong. He and the staff are wonderful. Clean and modern office is a must for me and his office doesn’t disappoint.
