A Unique Dental Experience
The highly trained Simi Valley dentist at Meridian Dental is Dr. Matthew A. Nejad. He is a graduate of the acclaimed University of Southern California School of Dentistry, the nation’s top-ranked school for dentistry. He graduated top of his class with recognition for the highest number of procedures completed in the history of the school. Prior to dental school, Dr. Matt earned a bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience from UCLA.  He is the currently the youngest clinical faculty at the University of Southern California school of Dentistry.
During dental school he received advanced training in natural and esthetic dentistry under the mentorship of world-renowned esthetic dentist and “father†of Biomimetic Dentistry, Dr. Pascal Magne. In this one year selective program, Dr. Matt completed numerous esthetic treatments and a full mouth esthetic rehabilitation using conservative biomimetic dentistry.  He is very passionate about the …dental profession and has served as faculty in the USC department of restorative dentistry since graduation. He educates on the topic of bonded and minimally invasive restorative techniques and teaches biomimetic dentistry, both clinically and pre-clinically.  He continues to works closely with Dr. Magne, refining his esthetic and biomimetic treatments.  Additionally, he conducts research on dental materials and adhesion protocols with the ADA Standards Committee on Dental Products. These past and current experiences have shaped the innovative treatment options we offer in our Simi Valley dental office.
