Dr. Maxine Villiers Clark, DDS

I was one of Dr Clark patients. I wish this in no one, how she treated me for no apparent reason. I do know that she was trying to get money from my insurance company. I am filing a complaint against her, because she did not perform the work that she swore to do. I was to get reimbursed for the wrong doing that was bestowed upon me, and i want my insurance company to be reimbursed as well. I have been with Dr Clark since 2016. I am looking for another Orthodontist to correct my teeth, what she should have done in the first place. God bless any one who went through what I endured.

All the care about is money, don’t care about the patients

She had me take my children to have teeth removed before applying braces. Then almost towards the end of the treatment, she tells me one children needed an implant for the space where she had them pull a tooth. Then after that, she makes a temporary retainer until we had the implant installed and four wisdom teeth removed. Now that the implant is in and the wisdom teeth were pulled, we go to have the impressions done for the 'permanent ' retainers and they tell me I have to pay $800 because the 'temporary' retainers were included in the $6000 initial treatment. If that were the case they should have explained that if we get the temp retainers, we have to pay later but that was NEVER mentioned. Now my child is going away to college in a few weeks with over a $9000 smile (including the cost of the implant and wisdom teeth removal) and nothing to assure her smile/teeth will not shift. The worst experience ever!! Oh did I mention we paid for two children to have braces from her??

They always see you 1hr or more from your appointment time. Not professional .super slow

Wait times are absurd even with an appointment, office staff is rude

Dr. Clark is the most heartless doctor I have ever met! She is only concerned with covering her own A$$! After being in her office for nearly 3 hours, I left with mouth pain that left me unable to eat for over a week and a detached crown! When I tried to call to express my concerns, she avoided my calls for an entire week! When she finally did call me back, she blamed ME! Saying that I asked for her to place a molar band on that tooth! ARE YOU SERIOUS?!? She told me that she was avoiding my call on purpose. She yelled at me, refused to even let me express my concerns saying she already had all my concerns in writing from her staff. Each time I tried to explain my concern, she began yelling and talking over me. Then she hung up on me! I have never been so disrespected!! I would never expect this behavior from a dr!

Very long waits, unprofessional uneducated staff, and way over priced makes this office a nightmare experience. Find someone else before u sign that contract!
