Dr. Melanie Wang (a.k.a. "Dr. Melanie" as her patients and staff affectionately call her) not only prides herself in exceptional orthodontic results, but also in forming lifelong relationships with her patients. Dr. Melanie grew up in Poway and went to UCSD for her undergraduate studies, graduating with high honors. She was accepted into the UCLA School of Dentistry where she was chosen as class president in her junior and senior years, as well as class speaker at graduation. It was there that she met her husband, Dr. Jim Wang. The two then moved to Missouri so Dr. Melanie could attend St. Louis University, where she completed her orthodontic specialty training. Today, Dr. Melanie and Dr. Jim have a two year old son named Tyler who loves to brush the few teeth he has! They have settled in San Diego and made it their home.
Dr. Melanie is board certified by the American Board of Orthodontics and maintains memberships with the American Association of Orthodontists, …the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and the San Diego County Dental Society. Dr. Melanie is committed to helping her patients have the confidence to share their bright smile with the world!

Our staff is trained and skilled, and we strive to provide energetic and fun-loving service to each patient.
