I am disappointed in how much this office has gone downhill. The office used to be great, but that has changed in the last few years. I was prepared to pay $1000 down for my appointment this week (the amount discussed when I made the appointment & got the pre-treatment approval with my primary insurance). When I arrived for the treatment to be done, the office staff changed the down payment amount to $1700, and wouldn’t continue the appointment unless I paid the additional $700, which I wasn't expecting and didn’t have available. When I originally scheduled the appointment and started the pre-treatment plan, I explained that my primary dental insurance was terminating in 30 days. Because of this, we decided it would be beneficial to complete this treatment while I still had double coverage available. Knowing the primary insurance would terminate at the end of the month, the office still refused to make an exception for the additional $700. The dishonesty in asking patients to pay… one amount at the time the appointment is scheduled & then increasing that amount when the patient shows up to their appointment is such a dishonest way to conduct business.
