Dr. Cavender is a 1994 graduate of the West Virginia University School of Dentistry. The following year he completed a General Practice Residency at the Charleston Area Medical Center located in Charleston, West Virginia. Immediately after the GPR, he continued his practice of general dentistry in Huntington, West Virginia.
Dr. Cavender soon developed a passion for endodontics. In 1996 he decided to further his education and in 1998 graduated from the post-doctural endodontic program located at Boston University. Dr. Cavender maintained a successful private endodontic practice in Charleston, West Virginia for nine years. He and his family then headed west looking for warmer and dryer weather. He visited Scottsdale, AZ and decided this is where he wanted to continue his career as an endodontist.
Dr. Cavender has lectured at numerous dental study clubs and dental society meetings. He was associate professor of endodontics at the Charleston Area Medical Center during his stay in …Charleston.
Dr. Cavender always practices at the highest level standard of care and is very in tune with his patients needs. He utilizes the latest techniques and equipment available. In his free time, he enjoys sports and especially spending time in the great outdoors with his wife and four children. Dr. Cavender now lives and practices endodontics in Scottsdale, Arizona.
