Born and raised in Morgantown, West Virginia, Dr. Michael Timothy Gocke earned his B.S.B.A. degree in Accounting from WVU School of Business and Economics. With his desire to pursue a profession in the dental field, he completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery from West Virginia University School of Dentistry. After graduating near the top of his class, he continued his training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Parkland Memorial Hospital, in Dallas Texas; one of the leading and most respected programs in the country. Dr. Gocke served as Chief Resident of this prestigious program and has initiated research in sleep apnea and reconstruction of facial skin cancer defects. He has received awards from the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and the American Academy of Orofacial Pain. Currently, he serves on the sports medicine team at Langley High School as the team Oral and …Maxillofacial Surgeon and was a guest faculty member of AO North America.
