Dr Liberto grew up in Union, NJ and following graduation from Union High, attended Rutgers, Newark College of Arts and Sciences where he received his bachelor's degree.  He then completed his dental education in Washington, DC at HowardUniversity, College of Dentistry where he also received awards for restorative excellence.  Dr Liberto was then accepted and completed the year long General Practice Residency at The Mountainside Hospital in Montclair, NJ.
After several years of working in the dynamic neighborhood of Newark's Ironbound for a senior dentist, Dr Liberto opened his private practice in Kenilworth, NJ and 15 years later moved the practice to Mountainside, NJ to build his dream office, remaining close to his Union roots.  June of 2010 will mark his 25th year in general practice.
Dr Liberto continues to study under some of the brightest minds in dentistry and completes extensive …continuing education yearly.  He has been certified to restore Dental Implants since 1987, has been on the cutting edge of this technology as it evolves and has extensive expertise in this treatment.  While his passion is in restorative dentistry, Dr Liberto is also trained in orthodontics and advanced cosmetic procedures.  In addition, Dr Liberto works closely with talented, well trained specialists who partner with him for patient care when their area of expertise is needed.
He is a member of The Academy of General Dentistry, The American Dental Association and The New Jersey Dental Association.
Dr Liberto enjoys spending time with his wife Janet of 23 years and his two boys, Michael and Nicholas at the Jersey shore, fishing, cooking, gardening and enjoying friends, health and wellness.
