Dr. Michael Minars
Born in Hollywood, Dr. Michael Minars grew up just one mile from his office, attending Stirling Elementary, Attucks Middle, and Hollywood Hills High School. His undergraduate work was completed at the University of Michigan. From there, he returned to his home state for dental school, at the University of Florida, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine. There his talent and hard work as an orthodontist in Florida were recognized when he graduated as valedictorian.
Dr. Minars is the third doctor in the family to be practicing in Hollywood. His father and brother are just down the street at Minars Dermatology. Family values and home life are great assets which Dr. Minars brings to his practice. He has known his wife, Jessica, since the third grade. They have been married since 1998. Together, they have 3 children: Cameron, Chloe, and Parker.
Maintaining state-of-the-art equipment and advanced skills in orthodontist techniques are directly related to the time …and intensity which Dr.Minars participates in continuing education and related association meeting.

When Dr. Minars is not creating beautiful smile, or spending time with his family, he is usually enjoying his other passion…water sports. Surfing, wake boarding, and kite boarding can keep him in the water for hours. Some of his “toys†can be seen hanging on the office walls.
