Dr. Michael R. Ricupito, a native Californian, was raised in the Fremont. He attended San Jose State University where he played both football and baseball and graduated with a Bachelors of Arts (B.A.) degree with Distinction. He then attended the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco and received his Doctorate (D.D.S.) with Honors in 1983. Dr. Ricupito taught at UOP School of Dentistry and practiced general dentistry in the Bay Area before he decided to specialize in orthodontics. He received his graduate training from UCLA School of Dentistry where he earned a Master’s degree (M.S.) in Oral Biology an ADA accredited Certificate of Specialty in Orthodontics.
Dr. Ricupito is Board Certified and a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, member of the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, California …Association of Orthodontists, the Southern Alameda County Dental Society, the Craniomandibular Institute, and the College of Diplomates of the American Board of Orthodontics.
Dr. Ricupito is a former president of the Southern Alameda County Dental Society. More recently, Dr. Ricupito served as President of the California Association of Orthodontists.
In his spare time away from the office, his hobbies include coaching youth sports, attending all sporting events and cooking.
