Dr. Michael T Mccartney

Originally from Rutherford, NJ, I received my B.S. in Biology from Siena College in 1988,while in the innaugural Siena/Georgetown Dental School Program. I attended UMDNJ-New Jersey Dental School from 1988-1992 receiving a DMD degree. I received advanced training in the prestigious US Air Force General Practice/Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency in Washington, DC, at Bolling AFB and Oral Surgery Training at Andrews AFB. The Air Force sent me to Moody AFB in Valdosta, GA to complete my military service, where I perfected my skill and served as Preventive Dentistry Officer from Aug. 1993 - Sept. 1995. I joined Dr. Randall Benner, DDS, at Adel Dental Associates upon completion of my military service in Sept. of 1995, and bought the practice in January 1998. Our practice has won the Adel-Cook County Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Quarter Award 3 times, and I won the Volunteer of the Year for 2003 and Man of the Year in 2004 from the Chamber. I have served on Board …of Directors for the Chamber from 200-2007, serving as Board Chairman in 2004.
I have served in the officer chain for the Southwestern District Dental Association from 2001-2008, serving as President from 2006-7. I was on the Board of Trustees for the Georgia Dental Association for 2005-6, and received the Honorable Fellow Award from the GDA in 2009.
I am happily married to the former Lori Adams of Douglas, GA, for the last 17 years. We have two gorgeous daughters, Ivey(16) & Anna-Leigh(11). In my spare time, I sing with the Praise Team at Living Way Community Baptist Church in Adel, do the play-by-play announcing on Talk 92.1FM for the Cook High Hornets Football and Baseball teams, play golf, guitar, and love to cook and travel. My two civic passions are for Community Christian Academy and Boys & Girls Club of Cook County, both in Adel, GA, where I serve on the Board of Directors for both.
I am also a Regional Sales Manager(RSM) for Fortune Hi-Tech Marketing.
