Dr. Michael Vallillo, DDS

This was the worst experience of my life. He tried to process implants before they were integrated. He cemented someone else's denture to 7 failing implants. He used a dog collar to stretch my mouth. He ruined my smile. He caused so much pain which i still have years later. I paid him $45,000 and he wanted $31,000 more. He told my periodontist to place an implant where it could not possibly go. He altered my medical records. His own employees told me to report him to the dental review board! They also mailed me copies of the pages he removed from my records. This is the worst possible dentist you could choose. Hopefully his daughter will someday receive the same medical treatment i received.

The appearance of the dental work is good but I am extremely disappointed that Dr. Vallillo is not aware or up to date on how metals in the mouth can be toxic. I had all my teeth capped by Dr. Vallillo with some implants as well. A bridge was also installed that kept fracturing - Dr. Vallillo said he would replace it. He replaced it once, and again, the bridge fractured. After the second time he asked that I wait a while for something better to come out and he would replace it. Finally, when something better was available, he refused to replace the bridge saying he did not recall saying so - although his staff said he did say so but must have forgotten. Really?At the very beginning, soon after all the cosmetic dentistry was completed, I began to have severe headaches, a chronic metallic taste in my mouth and tongue swelling, to mention a few - all of which has never gone away! The severe headaches and symptoms have been non-stop - for over fifteen years ! Nothing was ever… mentioned to me that it could be a reaction to metals in the mouth, nor was I warned before any of the work that this was a possibility. Symptoms are getting more severe and I have found out that they could be life threatening if allowed to persist. I have also found out recently that it is common knowledge among dental professionals, for a long time, that it is possible to have toxins released as a reaction to the metals and this persistent release of toxins in the the system is dangerous to internal organs. Dr. Vallillo insists to this day that he has never heard of such a thing. Replacing the metal with all ceramic is my only option. I have come to this knowledge by my persistent pursuit for help through other dentists who are well aware of these issues.
