Dr. Michael W Davis, DDS

I have had very bad experiences with dentists in the past, especially with my pretty bad TMJ disorder, but Dr. Davis and his staff have been so incredible to work with. Dr. Davis is the only dentist I have ever been to who thoroughly cleans each individual tooth one by one, I wish I could get a cleaning from him every week! After being his patient, I will be totally uncomfortable with a dental tech going through the motions of cleaning polishing and flossing for me.

Even if you do have current x-rays, you need to have new ones and a full review before a relationship can begin. That's $300.00 to walk in the door. If you like juevenile banter over your head this is the guy to see. Hard to know if he is any good when money and juvenile banter is the order of the day. Save your money and continue to look for a well priced professional rather than Davis.

I went to Dr Davis upon the recommendation of a good friend. The staff, from the receptionist to the hygienist, is friendly and attentive. They put you at ease right away. They were very gentle when taking the digital xrays. Dr Davis did the oral exam, after assuring me that although I had not been keeping up with dental visits since my old dentist retired (3 years ago!) I had done my best No judgment zone! He then did the cleaning himself....my first cleaning by a dentist....as he wanted to go over each and every tooth closely, calling out comments on their status to the hygienist, who was taking notes. He was very gentle....and did not push me to get work done. In fact he told me to go to Walgreens to buy a mouth guard as it was cheaper than him making one! I had no cavities (yay!) and I was the one who wanted to follow up with a cap replacement that had chipped. His staff is following up with my insurance company and is going to keep me posted. I would highly recommend Dr Davis.
