Michelle L. Halpern, DMD
Education
Dr. Halpern received her undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania. She was admitted to the Harvard School of Dental medicine where she was awarded her DMD. She then completed a rigorous three year orthodontic residency program at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Montefiore Medical Center in New York City.
Prior to starting her own practice, Dr. Halpern worked for several years as an associate in private practices in New York City, Havertown and Narberth.
In the Office
Dr. Halpern is committed to utilizing her extensive training and experience in orthodontics in order to create healthy smiles for her patients. Whether treating children, teenagers or adults, she works hard to devise a unique treatment plan that suites the needs of each individual patient. She is truly honored to serve her patients as their orthodontist and finds it incredibly rewarding to watch them gain the self-esteem and confidence that …comes from having a beautiful smile.
Continuing Education
Dr. Halpern is dedicated to staying on the cutting edge of orthodontic treatments and technology in order to provide her patients with the highest quality results and shortest treatment times. She is an active participant in a number of professional journals clubs where she has the opportunity to critically review the latest dental research and literature and incorporate this information into her patients’ treatment plans.
Dr. Halpern is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics, the American Dental Association and the Mid Atlantic Society of Orthodontists.
Family Life
Dr. Halpern was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. After first spending four years in Philadelphia for college, she was happy to return to the area with her husband Matthew, a dermatologist and Mohs surgeon, and her twin children Chloe and Luke. She enjoys running and playing Mahjong.
