Dr. Verhave is a personable, competent dentist. She accepts my insurance, which is a gold star, and she keeps my mind busy with chit chat while working on me. She is caring and obviously has my health in her best wishes.

I drive over half an hour from Danbury just to see Dr. Michelle and her awesome staff. I'm usually a big baby when it comes to any procedures done but I've had teeth cleaning, cavities filled and a chipped tooth patched up, never once have I been in discomfort. Dr. Michelle and her staff have a wonderful way of relaxing you and putting you at ease. Five stars all the way.

My whole family sees the Dr. and we couldn't be happier.

I first went to Dr Verhave for an old filling that fell out. The office is very old looking and the equipment is very out of date. After drilling and drilling she decided it was too deep and I would need a root canal. She placed a temporary filling in and sent me home. I was in excruciating pain that night and couldn't get a hold of anyone. I called multiple times with no luck. I eventually got a hold of an Endodontist and immediately got a root canal. I went back to dr Verhave for a routine cleaning and was told I had no cavities and went on my way. A few days later I received a call about needing to come back for a "deep cavity" when I questioned why no one tole me about this they said they didn't know. I never went back for the filling seeing how I had no pain. So fast forward 1 year I went for a yearly check up and was now told I had a TON of cavities. It was my lucky day because there was a cancellation after me and we ended up filling 4 of my cavities in the front teeth. I left… the office with a bite that was off and was told it had to be good enough. I was in a lot of pain after the fillings and called a few times but never got an actual person, I left multiple messages that we're never returned. I finally went to an Endodontist who told me the fillings were a total disaster and I needed at least one root canal. She said all of the fillings need to be replaced.. So now begins the fight with the insurance company to pay for the new work.the fillings not only hurt but look terrible. These are my two front teeth and the fillings are already yellow . My teeth are bonded together now and I can not floss. It's is now 1 week post root canal and I still can not bite normally on the other filled teeth. Needless to say I will NOT be going back to this office. I gave one star because there is not an option for a worse score.

Very unprofessional. I called to make a routine six month cleaning and everything went well until I just received a bill in the mail. I called to question the charge because I have dental insurance and this should have been free of charge. Well, they conveniently scheduled my appointment 3 days short of six months so my insurance will not cover the charge. Now i have to pay for a routine cleaning. Their response was "we're really sorry, we should've scheduled that for a couple of days later". This should not have happened and they made no attempt to help with the charge. I cancelled my future cleaning appointment and they lost my business. There is no excuse for this. This has never happened to me in 30 years and it does after just one year with Michelle.

This may be the worst dentist I have ever seen. She told me I had cavities in 2 teeth,I didn't believe her n got a second opinion to find out there was nothing wrong. She also billed my insurance for work that was never done totalling $2200.00 after numerous calls she finally returned the money and claimed it was a billing error. I would not recommend this dentist to my worst enemy.
