Dr.Mila Sorkin 
I have completed my professional education in Moscow Russia. I graduated from Moscow Dental Institute in 1970. My degree took five years of medical and dental education. In Russia (FSU) the education is different than in America. We were trained as general doctors with complete specialized dental education.
 Being trained as a physicianfirst, gives me an advantage. I'm able to asses the patient's overall physical state in relation to his dental problems. 
Upon arriving in the United States in 1983, I attended a special program for foreign Dentists at NYU in 1985-87.
 Upon completion of the program I have passed all required National Board Examinations and received my license as a Dentist (DDS).
 I have been in my private practice in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn ever since. I specialize in general, endodontic, restorative and cosmetic dentistry as well as a non-surgical gum treatment.
In 1998 I have also completed a mini residency in TMJ disorders at NYU and have …successfully integrated it into my practice.
My primary focus is cosmetic dentistry such as crown/bridge and other restorative procedures. Root canal treatment, non-surgical gum treatment and TMJ equilibration serve as a strong foundation for long lasting oral health.
With regard to patient care, I hold myself to a very high standard. The level of care they receive frequently exceeds their expectations. The different areas of my expertise allow me to address patient’s overall health.
One of the key ingredients in success of my practice is my nurturing gentle touch. It is extremely important to be there for my patients. I always make it a point to call my patients after major procedures. I feel close to my patients and staff. When you are here, you are a part of the family.
I pour my heart and soul into everything I do. My visionary professional attitude lets me reinvent my patients inside out. Their new image gives them a new path in life.
My office has a unique look unlike any other. This also contributes to a comfortable atmosphere and stress free relationship between me and my patients.
The wide spectrum of principles that I apply in my practice every day builds trust and confidence. It allows me to fulfill my calling as a doctor, while helping people live better and smile again.
