Dr. Mitchell A. Josephs , host of "Tooth Talk" radio show, has an aesthetic and implant dental practice on the Island of Palm Beach in Florida. Dr. Josephs has dedicated his practice to the preservation of the art and science of dentistry. A graduate of McGill University in Montreal, Dr. Josephs completed his general practice residency at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City. After completing his residency, he had a practice in Central Park West where he continued to perfect his skills and education in the field of cosmetic dentistry.
In 1992, Dr. Josephs began his current practice in Palm Beach. Since moving to Florida, Dr. Josephs has continued to excel in his field. His practice has grown 100% since his arrival. He attributes his success to a combination of state of the art technology, individual care and innovative service techniques. Dr. Josephs and his staff of trained technicians are committed to providing the highest quality materials and methods for aesthetic dentistry …to patients from all over the world.
Dr. Josephs is also the inventor of the Strength Clench. This device, was designed as a "shock absorber" for both the teeth and the jaws of weight lifters. Body builders place hundreds of pounds of compressed force on their teeth when they clench them while lifting weights, which can lead to damage to the teeth, pain in the jaw, headaches and muscle spasms. The Strength Clench can also prevent tongue, lip, and cheek biting and increase lifting strength.
A dentist...an inventor ....., and a stand up comic. What? Yes. In 1990, Dr. Josephs was elected as a semi-finalist in a contest to find New York's funniest dentist. The contest was sponsored by Colgate.
Dr. Josephs is a member of The American Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Central Palm Beach County Dental Association, East Atlantic Coast Dental Society and the Florida Dental Association.
